So What’s This Job About?

We’re looking for caregivers for our Tauranga rest home clients. We’re quite fussy buggers, so not only are we selective on who we employ, but also our clients on who they want working with them. They love us and we love them, which means, we’ll be highly surprised if you don’t like working with them.

We’re looking for caregivers with experience, because we’re known for our top quality staff so this is one of the reasons why.

What Can We Offer You?

For starters, absolutely brilliant bosses! They’re funny, attractive, supportive, the list just goes on. Seriously though, we think the most important thing when it comes to working for an agency is the support you get from management. It’s a challenging career and you need to know that management understands and appreciates the work you do. You need to know they’re always there when you need advice and support.

Flexibility 

You tell us when you want to work. Need extra money? You can work more. Want to spend more time with the kids during the holidays? Just tell us the days and shifts you want to do.

You can even tell us where you prefer to work. Of course, if you want to make this your full-time money earner you’ll more than likely not want to be too picky. 

Pay

Ah yes, the question of money. Because we like to keep some competitive edge in such a competitive market, we can’t tell you how much we’ll pay you here. If it helps, our staff have mentioned we “pay really good”. But if you think you’re a serious contender, complete an application form and get it in to us. 

Uniforms

Yip we give you one. It just doesn’t seem right to force people to buy uniforms just to work for us.

Working for a Nursing Agency. I’m Just Not Sure…

There’s a few reasons why people choose to work for a nursing agency:

  You choose your hours (as we mentioned above)

• Challenging environment:

  You can go into several different facilities and have to pick up their routines quickly

• Avoiding the “Politics”:

  Some don’t like getting caught up in the “office politics” that you can get from working in the same place. If you feel you’re starting to get to “involved” you can easily work for another of our clients.

• Variety is the spice of life:

  You can meet LOADS of amazing people and learn HEAPS of different stuff.

With the good comes the bad. Let’s be honest, working for a nursing agency isn’t for everyone. Some people aren’t fans of just going into a facility for the first time and being expected to perform. There can be a bit of pressure. This can certainly make you push yourself. But as they say...
